If the trick of water and lemon has not worked perfectly, the result does not fully meet your expectations or you are simply not convinced of this solution, we have another one for you. Trust this proven method, widely used by our mothers and grandmothers. As an added bonus, you probably already have all the ingredients you need in the kitchen.

Dirty socks

bicarbonate

Mix a little ’ of baking soda with water until a thick paste is obtained. Then rub the socks with this mixture. Leave them for 20-30 minutes so that the pasta can work effectively on dirt. So, wash your socks as usual in the washing machine. When they come out of the drum, they will be very clean, without the slightest stain and surprisingly white.

Spirit vinegar

Alcoholic vinegar, on the other hand, quickly removes even stubborn stains. Special mention: since it has a bactericidal effect and softens the fabric, it will make your socks much softer and more pleasant to the touch. All you have to do is add the water and vinegar in a 3: 1 ratio, or three glasses of water for a glass of vinegar. Dip your socks in this mixture for an hour. So, machine wash them with your normal detergent. Freshness and candor guaranteed!
