#2: How to distribute fertilizer to hard-to-reach plants
If you have a lot of plants and they have already grown to the point where they can reach the ones in the back, then it would be difficult to add fertilizer to them. You can find a long hose that can reach that part, then point it down into the soil and start spraying the fertilizer right inside the hose and into the root system of the plant.

Filling a large flower pot can be expensive and use up too much potting soil; instead, try filling it with other objects such as: bricks, rocks, plastic bottles, sticks, branches, mulch, leaves, recycled paper, magazines, pool noodles, straws and more. After adding the filling materials, place the potted flower on top, or cover the filling materials with potting soil and transplant the flower or plant.
#4: How to use a vase with holes in the bottom
If your jar has one or more holes in the bottom, take a coffee filter and place it well on the bottom. This way the soil will remain in the pot and the water will be able to pass and drain at the same time. You can now plant the plants or flowers as you normally would. When you remove recently purchased plants from their container, give them a little squeeze and they will come off more easily.

Take a large 2 liter plastic bottle, cut off the base or bottom and place the top over the plant, as shown in the video. This will act as a terrarium and allow your seeds to be watered and grow automatically. Another tip is to use coffee grounds or Epsom salt as fertilizer for plants. It’s also best to keep all your gardening tools in a bucket, so you can easily carry them anywhere.
