1. Going to bed immediately

Many of us are in this habit. Sometimes we’re tired after a long day and the only thing we want to do is just get some rest even if it comes immediately after a heavy dinner.

Doing this can cause a number of digestive issues including heartburn, bloating and acid reflux. It can also contribute to unwanted weight gain because your body doesn’t get enough time to burn off those calories.

 

 

This is a sign to start having early dinners that can give you at least three hours in between before going to bed. Also, avoid lying down immediately after eating so the digestion process can go on smoothly.

2. Heavy exercising

The debate rages on as to whether we should be eating before or after exercise. Although they both have different benefits, the main thing is timing.
