The following tips will show you how to store lemons to keep them fresh and fragrant and how to  freeze them  to always have them on hand.

Lemon peel  : The first thing to do is wash the lemons well with  cooking soda  dissolved in a bowl of water. Leave the lemons to soak for at least  15 minutes  then rinse them. Dry them well with a clean cloth or kitchen paper.

Remove the zest with a large-holed grater or small knife and place in a plastic bag or freezer-safe airtight container.

Lemon juice  : Once the zest has been removed, divide the lemon in half and squeeze the juice with a citrus press. Then, strain the juice through the strainer and then, pour it into  previously washed and dried ice cubes.  Once the juice cubes are well frozen, transfer them to a food bag and place them immediately in the  freezer . This way, you will always have  lemon juice  on hand to make all your recipes.

Lemon slices  : You can also  freeze lemon slices . To do this, wash the lemons well and cut them into slices. Freeze them on a tray and then place them in a plastic freezer bag. You can use them to flavor a dessert or to flavor one of your favorite dishes.
