The dryer is useful, especially when the weather is not good for drying clothes in the air. But not everyone can afford this device for space or budget reasons. There is, however, a trick that allows the laundry to dry quickly in case of rain.

Appliances such as dryers and washer dryers are essential, but they are also energy-intensive. If you don’t have this equipment and want to save money, you can dry your clothes faster with this simple function in your washing machine.

Absorb moisture from clothes with the washing machine

Having a dryer at home is not an absolute necessity. Although it is fast and convenient, there are still many other ways to dry clothes without using a dryer. These alternatives can be just as fast and efficient and are often more environmentally friendly. Plus, they won’t shrink your clothes! So here’s a feature of the washing machine that can be very useful for you.

  • The towel and washing machine technique to absorb moisture from clothes

This function involves removing excess water from clothes. To do this, at the end of the washing cycle, simply keep the laundry still wet in the washing machine, set the “ centrifuge ” to maximum power and put a dry and thick towel inside the basket. With this trick, the towel absorbs much of the moisture retained by the laundry.

Tip: avoid overfilling the washing machine basket. The lower the amount of laundry, the faster you dry your clothes.
