2. Baking soda
Add two generous tablespoons of baking soda, a tablespoon of salt, and hot water to the jar. Leave it on for about 30 minutes.

This combination removes limescale deposits on the glass. Remember to wash the glass with dish soap and water before drying and storing.

3. White vinegar
Another simple and effective way to remove limescale is a solution of white vinegar and water.

Fill a container with two equal parts vinegar and water, submerge the jars in it, and let them soak for a few hours. If necessary, you can also leave the jars overnight.

Finally, rinse and wash the glasses and then dry them well before storing them.

4. Toothpaste
Put some toothpaste in the glass and spread it over the entire surface. After a few minutes, rinse the glass well with water and detergent, dry it well and store it.

If none of the solutions to remove the white patina from lenses worked, the problem is probably not solvable and in this case the only option is to replace them with new glasses.
