temperature
The ideal temperature for an orange tree is 23 degrees to 32 degrees Celsius. It is a tree that appreciates warm and temperate climates but is very intolerant of low temperatures. For this reason, it is important to take care of it in case the temperature drops below these degrees and to make some type of protection with plastic.
Watering
So that the orange tree grows well hydrated and its roots are strong and large, it must be watered every 2 or 3 days, depending on the time of year and the temperatures. It is practical for your land to be kept hydrated but never flooded because excess water can be counterproductive.
substrate
The orange tree also needs a nutrient-rich substrate for its good growth. For this, you can get a substrate made from algae or bat guano, among others.
harmful
Orange trees are hardy trees but are susceptible to certain types of pests such as mealybugs, whiteflies and red spider mites . It is recommended to prevent this type of insect before having to treat it and for this you can make homemade and natural insecticides with garlic, water, cloves and cinnamon to spray its leaves and its branches and prevent them from approaching it.
