Tomatoes are among the most popular crops among gardeners. They are sown no later than February 1, but depending on the region, of course. Today we will demonstrate an effective method for sowing seeds so that you do not have to prune the strands that have sprouted later.

INGREDIENTS:

– boxes or trays;

– peat substrate + universal soil and perlite;

– 1 ml of phytosporin and 1 ml of liquid zirconium for 1 l of water.

KITCHEN:

1. Since we plant seeds of tomatoes and other crops year after year in oblong trays or crates, we will need to prepare them first. And in addition to washing them well, we also created markers on them, indicating what type of seeds were sown and on what date.

2. After that, we prepare the soil: we use 30% neutral peat, 70% universal soil and about 500 ml of perlite in a 50 l basin of soil. But if you don’t want to struggle with this mixing procedure, you can use a regular commercially purchased substrate for seedlings.
