No matter how often we change your pillowcases, the pillows will always find a way to take on a yellowish hue . This phenomenon occurs due to the daily use of pillows and their ability to absorb body fluids, such as sweat or drool.
Although it is very easy to hide and forget about the problem by using pillowcases, it is obviously not the best solution. Over time, your pillow can start to smell unpleasant and harbor harmful germs.
Fortunately, recovering yellowed pillows is easier than you think, and we’ve listed the most effective solutions below.
normal pillows
To recover the classic cushions, simply wash them in the machine. You need:
laundry detergent 200ml
80 grams of powdered dishwashing detergent
100 ml bleach (or similar effective alternative)
50 grams of borax
Soak the pillows in warm water for 30 minutes, then add all the ingredients mentioned above and more hot water. Let the pillows soak for 30 minutes, then wash them normally in the washing machine.
