The perfect tip for removing white film from glasses

After many uses and many washes, glass glasses are subject to the appearance of an annoying white patina, which makes them opaque and loses all their elegance.

This patina is caused by the limescale present in the water, which accumulates on their surface and which, also thanks to the detergent we use when washing, causes the glass to lose its shine in the long term.

Before buying new and shiny glasses, you can try to recover your dull glasses with some DIY tips.

The tip that we offer you below is certainly the most effective for removing the white film from glass lenses. To put it into practice, you only need two ingredients: salt and lemon.

Rub half a lemon on the inside surface of the glass. Apply some pressure, but be careful not to break the glass cup. Lemon will help soften limescale.

Immediately afterwards, sprinkle a little salt on the inside surface of the glass. Even with salt you will have to rub vigorously, but delicately. The salt will further remove limescale.
