The accumulation of grease and dirt on the glass hob is normal if you use it continuously. My family and I love to cook and that’s why our countertop has stubborn dirt that is difficult to remove. So I searched the Internet for a solution and found the secret to cleaning glass cooktops like a pro in a Clean That Up video. I tried it and it worked perfectly. Ours is definitely beat up, with a few scratches, but after completing the steps, it looks 100 times better.

The materials

  • regular dish soap
  • sift the dad
  • clean rag
  • cleaner for glass hobs
  • razor blade scraper

Instructions

Phase 1:

Degrease the surface. Spray the surface with a degreasing product, then use the scrub daddy to scrub it. When finished, wipe with a clean, damp cloth.

Phase 2:

At this point, there will still be some cooked fat. Pour glass hob cleaner and rub it. Work in small circles and focus on the main cooking areas. Once finished, let it sit for a while, then wipe with a damp towel and rinse the entire surface. Then, give it a quick wipe with a dry microfiber cloth.
