Vinegar Is the Secret to Soft Towels, Whiter Whites, and Other Laundry Solutions

Spray vinegar on the stain-affected area and let it remain for ten to fifteen minutes before washing. Instead, soak the item in a solution made of one cup of vinegar and two cups of warm water if the stain is minor.

Use a paste formed from one tablespoon each of vinegar and baking soda to get rid of tough stains, but use it sparingly.

3. Protect Colors

It’s common for soap residue to adhere to the fabric of your clothes. After numerous washes, this may result in dark things becoming lighter. Put a cup or so into the final rinse cycle and keep your dark colors dark to avoid this.

4. Lint and Static Fighter

White vinegar helps to repel static, lint, and pet hair from laundry. Drop ½ cup of vinegar into your washer’s rinse cycle.

5. Use as a Fabric Softener

Because it breaks down detergent residue, it can be used to soften your clothes, linens, and towels. Instead of a commercial fabric softener, add a half cup of vinegar to the fabric softener dispenser in your machine and let it do its magic
