How do you use baking soda and white vinegar?
Although both make an excellent cleaning solution, it is important to emphasize that they cannot be mixed together. Why ? Because baking soda is alkaline and white vinegar is acidic. When mixed, the two ingredients cancel each other out, as chemist Amanda Morris explains. The mixture creates a bubbling reaction and when this stops, only water remains. In addition, the two ingredients neutralize each other and remain ineffective for good cleaning.

Cleansing joints is no longer a fatality thanks to the two amazing ingredients. Start by first sprinkling baking soda on the grout lines and then spraying the white vinegar on the baking soda. Let the mixture foam for a few seconds, then scrub with an old toothbrush to loosen the dirt. Then wipe with a clean sponge to complete the cleaning.
