Buttery Pecan Snowball Cookies

Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, powdered sugar, salt, and vanilla extract until light and fluffy.
3. Gradually add the flour to the butter mixture and mix until well combined.
4. Stir in the finely chopped pecans, ensuring they are evenly distributed throughout the dough.
5. Take about a tablespoon of dough and roll it into a small ball between your palms. Place the ball onto the prepared baking sheet. Repeat with the remaining dough, spacing the balls about 1 inch apart.
6. Bake the cookies in the preheated oven for about 15-18 minutes, or until they are set and lightly golden on the bottom.
7. Remove the cookies from the oven and allow them to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes.
8. While the cookies are still warm, gently roll them in powdered sugar until coated all over. Place them on a wire rack to cool completely.
9. Once the cookies have cooled, roll them in powdered sugar again to give them a snowy appearance.
10. Store the Buttery Pecan Snowball Cookies in an airtight container at room temperature.
