Effective tips for degreasing and whitening plastic containers

The vinegar
Vinegar is just as effective as baking soda and has stain-removing, descaling and whitening properties.

In this case, add half a glass of vinegar and half a glass of water to a bowl and stir vigorously to mix the ingredients. Then dip the containers into the resulting mixture and let them soak for a few hours or even overnight.

Finally, carry out a normal wash cycle, preferably with Marseille soap or organic dishwashing detergent.

The lemon
Squeeze the juice of a lemon and rub it onto the containers with a sponge. You can also rub half a lemon directly and leave it on. Then rinse and wash as usual.

For very stubborn yellow spots, we recommend adding a tablespoon of baking soda to a bowl of lemon juice to create a thick cream and rub the yellow spots. Leave on for ten minutes and rinse.

Marseille salt and soap
Finally, let’s look at one last tip, which is to combine two ingredients: salt and Marseille soap. Both have degreasing and whitening properties.

Simply pour hot water, a tablespoon of Marseille soap and two tablespoons of salt into a bowl and dip the containers into the resulting mixture.

Then let them soak for a few hours before scrubbing and rinsing.
