Put half a cup of salt in the sink and see what happens. A brilliant way to solve a kitchen problem.

If this method has cleared your sink, you can make sure to perfect the process by again pouring half a glass of salt down the sink drains in addition to vinegar. Then you add half a liter of hot water or boiling water depending on the type of sink you have, then let it sit for a few minutes. Then repeat   the same operation with baking soda.

This process will allow the salt and other ingredients to break down most of the grease as they flow down the drain. While the seasoning will help   break down the fat  , the vinegar and hot water will complete this action by more easily evacuating the disintegrated deposits.

Other useful uses of salt

Salt would have other incredible uses! This is what you can do with this condiment that has nothing to do with seasoning your dishes:

  • Eliminate shoe odors with salt

Bad odors in shoes are sometimes unavoidable due to the moisture and heat absorbed throughout the day. These unwanted odors can be eliminated if you get into the habit of   sprinkling your shoes with a small amount of salt every night.  The latter will absorb all unpleasant odors for one night.

    • Clean tea and coffee stains from cups with salt

Removing stubborn tea and coffee stains from mugs is easy with salt, which is still one of the easiest ways to clean them. To do this, soak a sponge in the ingredient and then rub it against the stains in circular motions until they disappear completely. For tougher stains, you can add a teaspoon of white vinegar to the cup, then let it sit for a few minutes before scrubbing it with a sponge.
