Fragranite sinks, how to clean them and remove stubborn limescale stains

As for light fragranite sinks, i.e. white, gray ones, they can only be treated with bleach which can be used as is if it is in gel or diluted in water. For gel bleach the dosage varies based on the conditions of the sink. A very damaged sink requires significant doses of bleach. A sink that does not show stubborn stains requires small quantities of product to be left on for a maximum of 10 minutes.

After the indicated time, the sink should be rinsed using hot water . Finally, drying is recommended, which is essential to guarantee an excellent result, i.e. a perfectly clean and shiny sink.

Soak with pure bleach

However, as far as soaking with bleach is concerned, this is the longer process of the two, requiring much more time and attention. Fill the sink with at least 5 liters of hot water, it must reach at least 80° or 100 degrees.

Then pour in 200 cl of bleach and let it act for a few hours. When the water is cold you can empty the sink and then scrub the surfaces using the abrasive sponge.
