Over time, glass lenses acquire a dull color or whitish spots due to limescale deposits in the water. The first option is to throw them away, stop using them, or throw them away, but it doesn't have to be that way.

Before buying new glasses, try to remove the white patina and return them to their original shine using the economical and ecological methods listed below.

Although limescale in the water we use to wash glasses is the main cause of the formation of this white patina, there are also other factors that can cause it, such as improper use of the dishwasher or excessive use of dishwashing detergent.

1. Salt and lemon
Rub the inside of the jar with half a lemon. Use some force, but be careful not to break the glass. The lemon gradually removes the limescale in the glass.

Immediately afterwards add a pinch of salt to the glass and sprinkle it over the entire inner surface. Rub again with the lemon to ensure that all limescale comes off. When you're done, wash the glass with dish soap and water and dry it well.
