6 Uses for White Vinegar in your Laundry

When you use it properly, white vinegar can tackle many of your laundry-related woes. The following are ways that this acidic liquid can improve the quality of your wash on laundry day

1. Odor Destroyer

The removal of odors by vinegar doesn’t require the use of artificial fragrances that could disguise unpleasant smells or irritate skin. Mildew? sweating under the arms? in general? Covered. The bacteria that sustains the stench is destroyed by vinegar.

Add 2 cups of distilled vinegar to a hot water washer to get rid of mildew odors from towels. Add your towels, then start the regular cycle. If you would want, continue with a further cycle.

To get rid of odors on clothing, add a half to a cup of vinegar to the rinse cycle. Another choice you have is to pre-soak particularly icky items in 1 cup of it and cold water. Prior to washing, allow the item(s) to sit for approximately 20 minutes.
